Sauna water marathon successfully started!

The world's first Sauna Water Marathon officially started on Saturday (11.6.2022) in Tampere/Finland in the oldest public sauna in Finland. From there, the sauna bucket will now travel 3,000 km until the end of October. With the Sauna Water Marathon (SWM), the organizers - the German-Finnish Society e.V. and the Finland Institute - want to make the original Finnish sauna culture better known in Germany. The destination is Stuttgart, where the International Sauna Congress is held only every four years.
