BINDER GmbH & Co. KG celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023.

Founded in Hamelin in 2003 by Siegfried Binder, the company initially specialised in the manufacture of high-quality tubular motors for swimming pool covers.

Then in 2014, BINDER launched the revolutionary HydroStar turbine swimming system, which gives users a nature-like swimming experience. Unlike pump-controlled counterflow systems, HydroStar uses its patented turbine technology to generate a broad, even flow that embraces the entire body. The turbine swimming system is easy to install and is extremely energy-efficient. It consumes up to 80 percent less electricity than pump-driven systems. A standard household power connection (230V) is all that is needed for the power supply.

Another great advantage of turbine driven counterflow systems from BINDER: A separate dry shaft is just as unnecessary as complex piping or wiring. This makes installation so easy and shrinks the installation time.

HydroStar inspires pool lovers all over the world and has already been awarded numerous prestigious prizes. BINDER has developed the EasyStar retrofit system for installation in existing pools.

The natural flow of the turbine swimming facilities offers optimal training conditions - not only for swimming but also for aqua gymnastics and rehabilitation. With the BINDER24 training app, the flow intensity can be individually controlled. In addition, personal training modules can be created and the optional LED lighting can also be conveniently controlled via the app.

The turbine swimming systems are available with volume flows from 160m³/h to 1200m³/h.
